What is $LNGE protocol?

$LNGE (Lounge Coin) is the utility and governance coin used within the LNGE ecosystem to empower a decentralized community building at the forefront of Aptos.

Lounge Coin serves several purposes:

Governance: Lounge Coin acts as the ecosystem's governance coin which allows Lounge Coin holders to participate in Lounge Coin DAO.

Access: Lounge Coin provides access to token-gated parts of the ecosystem that are unavailable otherwise, such as merch, events, services, and exclusive games.

Incentivization: Lounge Coin is a tool for third-party developers to participate in the ecosystem by incorporating LNGE into services, games, and other projects.

Spending Unification: Lounge Coin is the utility coin of The Lounge ecosystem, giving each LNGE holder a shared and open currency that can be used without centralized intermediaries.

Lounge Coin Allocation

The total supply of Lounge Coin is fixed permanently at 100 million coins. At the contract interface, no minting capability or burning capability is exposed so the total supply can never be increased nor decreased.

Following standard practices, a portion of the coins for contributors of the project will be locked initially. Locked coins will be unlocked over a 48 month period, in accordance with the predetermined unlock schedule below, starting on launch day, TBA.
